Weddings & Social Events
McKernan Inn & Events
Located on the coast with spectacular views of Casco Bay, McKernan Inn & Events offers a quintessential Maine venue for events with up to 100 guests as well as a unique training opportunity for students in the Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts Programs. McKernan Inn & Events is designed in the mission style, which complements the period architecture and its coastal setting. The space includes a welcoming foyer, main lobby, formal dining room and bar and glass-enclosed wraparound porch with breathtaking views.

Spring Point Field
Spring Point field provides extraordinary access to the waterfront with stunning views of the islands of Casco Bay, including direct views of historic lighthouses and forts. This reception site is quintessential Maine. Indoor restrooms, electricity and water are all provided at this site for your planning convenience. Guests selecting this site for their event are able to choose their own vendors for tent and event rentals, catering, bartending, event coordinator and décor.

Oceanview Dining Hall
During the summer, our Oceanview Dining Hall is available for indoor wedding receptions and events. The Dining Hall is ideal for groups desiring an indoor reception with a guest list of 75-150.
At the Oceanview Dining Hall, Sodexo Dining at ´óÏóÊÓƵ must provide catering and bartending services for the event. They can also assist you with rentals and recommend other vendors for décor, wedding cakes and more. Contact smccdining@mainecc.edu for more information about catering.
All-Faiths Chapel
The All-Faiths Chapel is a very charming white clapboard building with church pews seating 40 people. At the front is an open altar space and a beautiful stained-glass window.
Business & Educational Events
McKernan Inn & Events
McKernan Inn & Events includes a beautiful and unique atmosphere for hosting your business event or educational conference. Many seating options are available to meet the needs of your event. Audio visual services are available in each location.
- Professional business conference room for up to 15 guests
- Dining room conference setup for up to 26 guests
- Dining room meeting setup for up to 48 guests
- Dining room classroom style seating for up to 30
- Glassed-in, four-season porch for breakout sessions or meals, seating for up to 40 guests
- McKernan Inn & Events classroom – traditional classroom or conference-style seating for up to 20 guests
Jewett Hall Auditorium
After a summer of 2016 renovation, Jewett Hall Auditorium accommodates up to 125 meeting attendees with classic theater style, upholstered seating and individual pull-up writing desks. The auditorium is equipped with modern audio-visual equipment that is included in the rental. This room is most often used for training sessions or large meetings. Extended AV services, such as video conferencing and videotaping of your meeting, are available for additional fees.
Need additional breakout space? Jewett Hall is ideal, with many additional classrooms available just outside the auditorium doors.
Classrooms and Computer Labs
´óÏóÊÓƵ has a wide array of classrooms available for rental based on availability determined by the College’s class schedule. Classrooms are ideal for daylong training sessions and can be combined in one building/one hall for the ideal breakout space. They come equipped with all the technology required for a successful day of meetings or training.
Food & Beverage Service
Menus for your events can be customized to adapt to the specific desires and personal tastes of our guests. All meals are designed and executed by our professional staff of chefs, with significant input and execution by our Culinary Arts students. Meals at ´óÏóÊÓƵ are served buffet-style by our student staff. Due to the custom nature of food and beverage service, all prices shall be discussed in advance of the event with the Conferences & Events Department at ³§²Ñ°ä°ä.ÌýCatering services at ´óÏóÊÓƵ must be provided by McKernan Inn & Events or Sodexo Dining Services, unless renters are given express written permission by the Conferences & Events manager.
Whether you choose a cocktail reception or buffet dinner, you will receive a warm welcome and specially designed menu that is guaranteed to make your holiday celebrations unforgettable.

Campus Center
Guests of ´óÏóÊÓƵ have access to the Campus Center, which is the focal point of the South Portland Campus. The Campus Center includes the ´óÏóÊÓƵ Bookstore, SeaWolves Café, Library, community lounges and an ATM.
Parking
There is no charge for parking on campus. Our Conferences & Events team will work with you to determine the best parking area for your event and provideÌýpermits, if necessary, during your rental.
Spring Point Lighthouse
Spring Point Lighthouse has the unique distinction of being the only caisson-style lighthouse in the United States accessible by land and open for public tours. A small fee of $5 is charged to support the Spring Point Ledge Light Trust’s preservation efforts. For more information, .
